PRANAV AUNDHKAR
Design & Manufacturing Engineer
Sept 2017 - April 2020

My role at SRC Refrigeration greatly involved utilizing my strong expertise in 2D/3D modeling using AutoCAD & Inventor, and Vault for PDM. As a design engineer, I was responsible to create 2D layouts and 3D renderings for Cooler/Freezer boxes, based on the customer specifications. Working on heat load calculations to spec. correct refrigeration unit was one of the key design aspects. I also have utilized lean manufacturing techniques to optimize the process flow for the assemblies within the facility in association with DFM/DFA methodologies. At SRC, working in a collaborative environment to mitigate design/manufacturing problems has helped me strengthen my design skills and has developed a better understanding of manufacturing processes.

THE SHARKTANK PROJECT - TENDED BAR DESIGN (SEPT'19 - APR'20)
This was an unique project, supported and sponsored by Mr. Mark Cuban in collaboration with one of the SRC Inc. customer. The idea behind the project was to create an automated bar, which could serve you, your favorite cocktails, just by scanning the RFID Barcode and a single touch . These units were to be installed at sports complex facilities for recreational purposes. In the world of automation, this was indeed one step closer developing an unique product for the consumers market. I was the project lead to develop initial design draft, cooling systems, PIDS and program PLCs to a certain extend.
